Charts

The Nigerian Navy Hydrographic Office (NNHO) commenced chart production, with the unveiling of Nigeria’s first National Chart at the 2019 World Hydrography Day celebration in Lagos. This is a part of the National Charting Scheme developed in 2018 by the Navy (Nigeria’s Charting Authority); indicating the survey and charting plans for the entire navigable waters in Nigeria. Since then, a number of other National Charts have been published by the NNHO.

The NNHO has also produced over 6 series of training charts which are used by Nigerian Navy training schools/establishments for training of naval personnel on navigation.

These National navigational charts are available to mariners at NNHO, while the training charts can be made available to duly accredited maritime training institutions in Nigeria on demand. Interested institutions/persons are to make their demands here.
