ADMISSION REQUIREMENT

Admission for Cat “B”, SR III, II and I training is currently available to only NN personnel through the NN course nomination for officers and Draft Order Training (DOT) for ratings. The minimum admission requirement for the Cat “B” course is first degree in Mathematics, Physics, Geography or Survey and Geoinformatics. Similarly, the admission requirement for SR III, II and I courses is O/Level GCE, WAEC or equivalent results with at least 5 credit passes in English, Mathematics, Physics and any other 2 relevant social science subjects in not more than 2 sittings..  

Mindful of its establishment objective of being a foremost hydrographic training hub in Nigeria and the sub-region, NNHS has put in place plans to extend admission to the larger public within and outside Nigeria upon accreditation.
