The Theme of WHD 2024 is "Hydrographic Information – Enhancing safety, efficiency and sustainability in marine activities".

CALL FOR EXHIBITION AT THE WHD2024 EVENT

Interested organisations and companies are invited to showcase their hydrographic products and equipment at the 2024 WHD event scheduled to hold at the NAF conference centre Abuja on 21 June 2024. CALL FOR PAPERS

1. Prospective participants are invited to submit papers that are related to the following themes.

  • Advancements in Hydrographic Surveying Technologies.
  • Integration of Hydrographic Data in Maritime Navigation Systems.
  • Role of Hydrography in Coastal Zone Management and Environmental Protection.
  • Hydrographic Information for Offshore Energy Exploration and Development.
  • Data Management and sharing for Enhanced Maritime Safety and Efficiency.

2. All paper submissions will be reviewed based on originality, technical and/or research depth, accuracy and relevance to the conference theme. If accepted, authors would be requested to send full text paper.

3. Authors are encouraged to adopt the following guidelines:

  • The paper must be original and should not have been previously published.
  • The paper should be written in formal English language using MS-Word (.doc or .docx format only).
  • The paper is to be neatly typed, double spaced in Times New Roman font size 14 not exceeding 15 pages
  • Five keywords are to be involved in the abstract.
  • Full names, emails and phone numbers of authors and affiliations must be included.
